PayPal recently announced a database upgrade, concerning which they sent out a notice to all users. This change does not affect Kryptronic Software or the Kryptronic Managed Hosting Platform.

PayPal Payflow Database Upgrade

Some of our clients have been reaching out the past few days regarding the following message they have received from PayPal:

In the coming weeks, we’ll perform an upgrade of the pilot and production Payflow databases which will increase the availability of each database, as well as add more capacity. While the upgrade takes place, we expect some impacts to the Payflow Gateway for our merchants.

These changes to PayPal’s platform have no effect on Kryptronic software, it’s integrations with PayPal, or client’s sites. We appreciate when our clients reach out to us when they receive this stuff. We encourage all of our clients to do so.
