At Kryptronic, we work diligently to ensure our software is the most secure and stable available on the Internet. The following critical security update has been issued for all Kryptronic Software (ClickCartPro and EuropaCart) versions 6.0.0 and higher. This update applies hardening to Kryptronic Software to mitigate the effects of certain malicious CGI-based attacks which may present a security risk when executed on certain server configurations.
We have issued this software security update as of 03/30/2015 at 5:00 PM ET to ensure your software is hardened against any attacks of this nature. It is strongly recommended that you read, and follow the instructions in this update, to ensure your software is hardened against any such attacks.
Kryptronic Managed Hosting Clients
All Kryptronic Managed Hosting clients will have this updated applied by the Kryptronic Custom Shop within the next 24 hours. No action is required on your part – there is no need for Kryptronic Managed Hosting clients to run a software update at this time. Please keep an eye out for a message from Kryptronic when your update is complete.
Self-Hosted Software Installations
A software update is required to harden all affected self-hosted installations against such attacks. Install the update using the instructions at the appropriate link below:

If you would like Kryptronic to apply this update for you to your self-hosted installation, follow the instructions below:
1. Access the Kryptronic Support Payment page, and purchase a Level 2 (Custom Shop) Support Ticket for $89.00 using Quote ID ‘KRYPT03302013X’.
2. Access the Level 2 (Custom Shop) Support Ticket page, and submit your update request. Be sure to check your server access information. If you have a customized installation, and want Kryptronic to apply this update manually for you, please specify in the ‘Job Information’ section of the form and we will be sure to apply only the critical portions of this update manually for you.
